Our research team at the University of Windsor wants to understand the diagnosis experience of postpartum breast cancer patients. Understanding the unique journey of receiving a breast cancer diagnosis postpartum is essential to identify strategies that can improve early detection and outcomes. What symptoms did you experience? How long did it take to receive a diagnosis? What were your support systems during this time? What were your sources of information? Had you even ever heard about postpartum breast cancer?

Your participation in this study will help raise awareness about postpartum breast cancer and inform future breast health screening strategies.

The study consists of an anonymous online survey that takes approximately 10 minutes to complete (scanning the QR code), and an optional virtual interview (1-hour hosted on Microsoft Teams). Survey participants will be entered in a draw with a chance to win one of three $25 e-gift card to a location of their choice, and interview participants will receive a $25 e-gift card as compensation. This study is funded by Breast Cancer Canada.
