Dr. Cheri McGowan is an Professor in the Faculty of Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor. She completed her Ph.D. in Human Biodynamics (Cardiovascular Physiology & Exercise Rehabilitation), her Master’s degree in Human Biodynamics (Health Psychology & Cardiac Rehabilitation) at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and obtained her B.Sc. in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario. She holds adjunct positions in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI, USA), and the School of Medicine and Department of Emergency Medicine at Wayne State University (Detroit, MI, USA), and is an Adjunct Scientist at the Lawson Health Research Institute (London, ON). She is also an Associate Editor for the Journal of Human Hypertension – Nature
