Dr Sindu Kanjeekal is a hematologist-oncologist and she is the Chief of the Department of Oncology at Windsor Regional Hospital. She earned her Bachelor of Sciences at the University of New Brunswick and Doctor of Medicine at the University of Western Ontario. Then she pursued residency training in Internal Medicine and Hematology at Hamilton Health Sciences Centre, McMaster University. She completed her Medical Oncology Residency at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre, University of Ottawa. She is an Adjunct Professor, Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Windsor and in the Department of Oncology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry – Windsor Campus. She teaches in the classroom and the clinical setting. She also acts a mentor and facilitates a longitudinal course that emphasizes personal growth and reflection in the learner.
