OICR - Implementation Science Workshop - May 2nd - 1:00 pm Join OICR for their Implementation Science (IS) Workshop webinar on May 2, 2024, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. ET, with guest speaker Dr. Robin Urquhart. Organized by OICR IS Co-Leads Drs. Christine Williams and Harriet Feilotter, this educational session for the Ontario translational research community is an opportunity to learn more about what implementation science is, how it can be applied to advance the adoption and integration of research into practice, and the appropriate methodology for conducting IS. Dr. Robin Urquhart, is an esteemed Associate Professor at Dalhousie University, Canadian Cancer Society Chair in Population Cancer Research, and an implementation scientist who leads groundbreaking initiatives that elevate cancer care standards and outcomes through IS. Additionally, we aim to deepen our understanding of the mechanisms of aging from various perspectives: biological, clinical, and social.
