Dr Joanne Tay is an Assistant Professor at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Nursing. She completed her PhD at the University of Toronto, Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children in Child Health Evaluative Sciences.

Her research focuses on understanding the needs of children with complex medical conditions experience and their families. This includes understanding the barriers and facilitators that families encounter while accessing care services, improving the child and caregiver’s health outcomes, evaluating existing child health systems, and co-creating solutions with community partners to advance child health policies.
